Seeking sources: “Work from Home Spurs Enterprise Networking Innovation” story for Network World

How are the persistence of Work from Home (WFH), the rise of hybrid work, and steadily increasing mobility impacting enterprise networking innovation? This story will investigate how these mobility trends are spurring innovation among networking vendors to meet the challenges of a hyper-mobile world.

We’re long past the point where some combination of MPLS, VPNs, and SD-WAN covers most distributed enterprise use cases. SASE, zero trust, 5G RedCap, etc. will all claim pieces of this booming market. Setting our sights farther out to the horizon, what’s coming next?

How are networking vendors preparing to innovate their way ahead of competitors to capture a greater share of our not-in-the-office digital lives? How are networking vendors responding to these trends and other pressures, such as supporting real-time traffic from AI, IoT, and M2M applications?
